Technical sales jobs: Conference highlights space tech's real-world applications

New applications for space technology in real-world problems such as climate change are to be discussed at a conference this week, which could interest those looking at technical sales jobs.

The European Inter-parliamentary Space Conference will be taking part between October 25th and 26th and will analyse applications such as boosting the economy.

Pat McFadden, business minister, claimed that the sector has a strong link with numerous industries, those looking at technical sales jobs may be interested to discover.

He stated: "Space contributes some £6.5 billion a year and this figure is forecast to grow by around five per cent every year until 2020."

Mr McFadden highlighted the vital contribution that this sector and the conference plays to the UK and pointed to its potential for growth, which could see new technical sales jobs created.

In other news, a book has been released claiming that there has been a large amount of growth in the north east's technology sector, suggesting there may be new positions for those looking at technical sales jobs.
